This raised style of cookie embosser gives your cookies a raised design, as apposed to an imprinted design. The designs can be left plain, two toned ( some designs more suited than aothers) or hand painted,
Handy Hints:
1. Make sure you fondant is thick enough to fill the stamp. approx. 2-3mm. Make sure that your fondant is nice and soft and isn't dry.
2. Make sure you put enough pressure on the stamp to ensure a nicely raised design. If you are having difficulty getting a deep raised pattern give your stamp a wiggle when pushing down. You can also flip the stamp and roll your rolling pin across the fondant instead.
3. Use cornflour on the stamp to prevent sticking.
